I came here once , the place is clean and service was fast. You order at the register and they brought the food to my table. They didn't have beef when I was there , gave me chicken instead. It was good . Definitely worth the trip.

I visited tonight and had the beef original (because they were out of chicken), it was really good and it was big, but I thought $12 was a bit much. Plus, $5 for fries and drink. idk, maybe it's just me, but i do have mixed feelings about the price.

Came here to try to Kebabs, and was hoping for a little more. Atmosphere/Ambiance - 4/5 - In a pretty good location close by. It is not too big inside, but I feel like this is a place where you quickly get your food, eat and go. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and attentive. Did provide good choices when asked. Food/Drink - Ordered the following: - Original Doner/Beef - 3.5/5 - Little on the dry side, and wished we had more sauces. The waffle bread was just okay on it. - Curry Fries - 4/5 - They put heavy seasoning on them, which was pretty good as you definitely tasted the curry on them. My boys prefer regular fries, but these were pretty good. Overall, I think the kebabs were just okay. I was hoping for bigger quantities due to the price. Would I come back? If I am really craving for it, then yes, but I feel like there are other places to get my kebab fix.

Everything was solid. The food was just like the döner I used to get from Lucky Döner in Landstuhl, Germany. The staff was super-friendly and the place was clean. The only other döner place I've found Stateside that was anything like the döner I would get overseas is Cafe Divan in DC. GDK is excellent. Also, if you are looking for a "German restaurant," this is not what this is. This is a döner kebab place that does döner the way the Turks in Germany make them. And it's spot on. If you were ever in the military and stationed in Germany, you would know exactly what this is.

Was excited to see and try this new place. We've had all kind of kebabs but not German one. I was pleased with the amount of foods received. I ordered their original combo with combo meat and curry fries. The amount of foods received were great, so it was money well spent. Service was great as well as the taste. We'll definitely be back.

We are always eager to try new places and while driving by on University Dr came across this new dining place. Turned out to be a new found with healthy chicken shawarma/doner options. We ordered almost every kind of entree option- sandwich, burger, classic garlic bread, chicken bowl, chocolate waffles. Everything tasted amazing and so freshly prepared ala carte meal. Their servers are very polite and offer good prompt service. Pretty spacious diner! Should definitely try if you are aroun the area or craving for good doner food!

Surprisingly good! The kebab was quite large at first site (and is) but there's a lot of cabbage in it. I ate it with a fork and took a couple bites of the waffle bread. We ordered delivery so I can't say too much about service or inside but will definitely try other things on the menu in the future!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleased! If you'd had a gyro, this is similar yet quite different. A donner kebab is thinly shaved meat, sandwiched in a waffle like pita bread, stuffed with veggies, sauces, and packed with tons of flavor! It looks bigger than one could think to handle however it was super easy to eat and was totally fulfilling. The great thing was that it didn't leave me with a heavy feeling at all; rather a sense that I actually ate something tasty and healthy. The fries were great too with the options of the seasons but the best were the sauces!!! Try them all!! There is a yogurt, garlic, and spicy and all pair well with the donner and fries! We got the original donner- as is, and were totally satisfied. I really would not have changed a thing, but they can customize if you wish. Service was friendly however it was slow... so definitely expect to wait a little bit longer than a chipotle! The ambience was great, plenty of seating in a industrial/retro/casual space! The colors are bright and overall pretty clean. Overall GDK was pretty good, I'll be back for sure and will hope they open other locations!
